Pottery
Delta Potters is made up of a group of local artisans and nascent potters who create functional and artistic pots while learning new skills in a cooperative environment. We come together as individuals from diverse backgrounds and operate from the premise that we will offer help to one another, share ideas, learn new skills in the craft of pottery, and support the ongoing success of our guild. We began as a non-profit organization in 1972.
Biography
Delta Potters Association has had a studio in the South Delta Recreation Centre for 54 years. Currently we have 88 members who work on the wheel and handbuild. All members participate in the daily maintenance and management of the Club. We hold 2 sales each year, which usually have more than 20 potters displaying their pottery.
